Founded in 2011, Université de Bamenda (University of Bamenda) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized city of Bamenda (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Northwest Region. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur, Cameroun (Ministry of Higher Education, Cameroon), Université de Bamenda is a coeducational higher education institution. Université de Bamenda offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Conditions d'admission

Admission into the higher institutes/university colleges in the University of Bamenda is done through competitive entrance exams which involve written and oral examination. Students into other faculties are required to follow a registration procedure which involves presentation of results and study of files. A pass in ordinary level English is a major requirement for students from Cameroon. Students from other countries are expected to possess proficiency in the English language; without this requirement, the applicant is automatically disqualified.[
