BSc. Accounting
The objective of the department is to train competent professionals in all areas of accounting, who are imbrued with strong moral and ethical principles, and who are capable of delivering appropriate accounting services wherever needed.
Students must complete an eight week long industrial attachment at the end of the second semester of the second year. This practical on-site work experience provides the student the opportunity to gain industrial experience before they graduate. Student assessment will be based on the students’ on- the job performance and on a comprehensive report written by the student.
Home Student: 639,500 F CFA
Foreign Student :1,039,500 F CFA
General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level passes in at least two subjects (one must be in Economics) in the Sciences in addition to university requirements. In addition, propective student should have a pass grade in Ordinary Level(O/L) Mathematics.
Future, Career and Employament
After graduation, students can be self employed or gain employment as book keepers in any profit and nonprofit making organizations both at home and abroad. Our graduates are also expected to contribute to the high level man power development requirement of the country.
The program also gives the student the opportunity to further his/her studies at the graduate level in various domains of finance at CATUC or other world class university any where in the world.
